1 THE PERMIT OF THE WALLOON REGION:

4. Tourist permit equal to the B permit and valid for 15 days

When buying these you must mention that you are fishing in the Amblève sub-basin

Children under 14 years of age fishing for a single line with a single hook on board are exempt from the Walloon Region’s licence on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and during school holidays, provided they are accompanied by an adult in possession of the licence.

2. The online fishing card must be accompanied by the catch control card
   also available on site. Without this card the angler must practice NO-KILL
   total: (prohibition to hold fish)

• Fishing is totally and strictly prohibited on the days of re-stocking, i.e.from ,march 27,  April 17,  May 08, june19 ,july 17,august 15 ,september 11 after 6 pm
• The committee may remove any re-fishings

• Daily catches are limited to 4 fish of all species combined with
• Annual card50 fish maximum , with a maximum of 08 fish in 7 consecutive days.
• Daily permitmaximun 4 fish
• 08 fish maximum , per card 7 consecutive days

The catch control logbook is printed on the back of each licence. It is to be completed by the fisherman:

• by date from the first preserved fish
• by the first letter of the fish: ex T for trout, B for pike for perch before resuming fishing
• If the fisherman is no longer a carrier of his fish, he must surround the boxes of the fish concerned ex T

Any fisherman who has reached the number of authorized daily catches must stop fishing, and put away his equipment so that he is no longer in a fishing attitude!

Common sense.

Supervision is carried out by the Company’s custodian and the members of the committee upon presentation of their control card.

Any fisherman controlled in a fishing attitude on the course of LA SALMIOTE must SPONTANEOUSLY present his SALMIOTE fishing card and his identity card allowing the controller to verify whether or not the fisherman complies with the SALMIOTE regulations, namely to be in possession of a STRICTLY PERSONAL fishing card of the SALMIOTE.

If not, the fisherman will have to:

• Either stop fishing and leave the fishing course
• Either pay the amount of the fishing card to continue fishing

He must authorize the control of his catches. If they are in a vehicle, he must authorize the control of the vehicle as well as all baskets, keepers, bags and pockets.

Fair play is required (respect the places and distances between fishermen)

IMPORTANT: The penalty for violating the by-law provides for the immediate withdrawal of the permit for a minimum period of one week. After this period, the fishing card may be collected at the residence of the President (or his representative).

EXAMPLE. Non-registered fish = one week of withdrawal

Unauthorised fishing action for the first time: warning with one week’s withdrawal of the fishing licence
Unauthorised fishing for the second time: exclusion from the company
Refusing to control the catch: exclusion from the society
Cutting off the head of one or more catches: exclusion from the company
Being in excess of the number of authorized catches: exclusion from the company
Unauthorised catch dead or kept alive: exclusion from the company
Catch smaller than the legal size and kept alive: exclusion from the company
Unauthorised baiting first time: warning and withdrawal of the card for one week
Unauthorised baiting second time: exclusion from the company
Fishing during a closed season for restocking: first time: warning and withdrawal of the card for one week
Fishing during a closed season due to restocking: exclusion from the company
Any lack of respect or correction towards the society or one of its representatives: exclusion from the society

The use of a dry rag for no-killfishing is prohibited.

The use of a suitable disgorger is compulsory
